The confession

I am a man of my words", he said
And I have meant every word of it.
It was not a boy who said that to a girl
It was a man's confession 
Not in the front of a priest 
Or the world
Just to the person who needed to know it
Trust. It was a man who said it
Man of his words
And he meant it.
Every bit of those three words.
